progoth.com » Embarassment http://www.progoth.com a complete waste of webspace since 1999 Thu, 04 Mar 2010 19:03:48 +0000 http://wordpress.org/?v=2.9.2 en hourly 1 hahahahhahaha i am stupid http://www.progoth.com/2004/10/06/hahahahhahaha-i-am-stupid/ http://www.progoth.com/2004/10/06/hahahahhahaha-i-am-stupid/#comments Thu, 07 Oct 2004 04:53:11 +0000 Steven http://www.progoth.com/wp/2005/03/28/hahahahhahaha-i-am-stupid/ oh man i wanted to see if (my) iTunesAlarm has hit google yet, so i search for “alarm for itunes”…and got to this.  My iTunesAlarm doesn’t let you name alarms or do “volume change” (whatever that is) and i thought of letting you pick the range of the volume increase…but never did..and this other one does.  Mine does have the added features of Shuffle (which is actually slightly broken due to itunes acting funny), and it has a spacebar-activated snooze with configurable time AND a short pause when you touch your keyboard/mouse to allow you time to turn off the alarm.  oh he also has the “activate or deactive single alarms without deleting them or deactivating them all” that i was just about to put in.  Buuut i don’t know what language this is written in, it doesn’t run in the system tray, i don’t know if you have to leave it open for it to work…  man we even used the same installer program and registry key…

So anyway mine is open source, and it has features i need that the other doesn’t have, so I will be continuing mine.  However, i will have to figure out a new name. :(

Finally it was down to me and some girl.  I couldn’t get into gifted yet, but dang it I could win me some math competition.  Then Mrs. Robinson held up our card…

I think it was 5…I’ve never been good with adding 8 to things, and 5 is the worst.

So the girl answered it while I was still sitting there thinking about it.

I burst out into tears….like bawling tears and crying and such.  Mrs. Robinson sent me to the bathroom.

Soon after I got back we were talking about how to add 9 to things, and I raised my hand and answered add 10 and then subtract 1…or something…and she went to her pencil box and gave me a pencil.

Even back then I knew why she did it, and I’ve been embarassed ever since.
